QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR

We are currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector with expertise in the inspection of fabricated sheet metal, painted products, and welding operations. This position will require work in our manufacturing facility. MUST HAVE SHEET METAL EXPERIENCE

* Candidates should have a mechanical background and 3 to 4 years of related experience.

We are currently seeking a Welder to weld standard products to include all special, small parts, and templates used to compete the job. All welders will grind and surface finish all products per instructions given through blueprints, oral instructions, & shop drawings

* Holds, positions and reads tape measure to assemble units, templates and small parts.

* Welds various types of metals and alloys in vertical, horizontal and overhead positions for high pressure and strength requirements.

* Sets up and operates welding machines places and moves blocking braces and templates to hold parts.

* Grinds rough edges, surplus weld, or scale according to blueprints, shop drawings and oral instructions

* Cleans work area, machines, tools and equipment. Performs other routine maintenance duties.

Press Brake. Be knowledgeable or be willing to learn various material types such as cold rolled steel, galvanized, stainless steel, aluminum and copper.

* Attention to Detail: Press brakes are precision equipment. Being off by millimeters could be a critical error. Keen attention to detail is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities​:

· Advise supervisor of materials (paint, solvents, etc.) that need to be ordered

· Clean grease and dirt from product.

· Applies masking tape over parts and areas that are not to be coated.

· Selects and mixes coating liquid to produce desired color.

· Pours coating liquid into spray container and connects gun to air hose.

· Turns sprayer valves and nozzle to regulate width and pressure of spray.

· Pulls trigger and directs spray onto work surface to apply prime or finish coat.

· Cleans spraying equipment and brushes with solvent.

· Removes rust from metal with acid, wire brush, or steel wool.

· Performs touch up painting on manufactured cabinets with airbrush or spray gun.

Qualifications:
